Editing your Portal Default Form
The Default form is the one employees can fill out if they did not find an answer to their question.
To edit it, go to Channels > Employee Portal > Ticketing Form.
Then follow the same instructions as the ones provided to edit your ticketing interface default form.
Setting up your Portal Homepage
As previously outlined, you can choose to showcase a few things on the Homepage:
collections of related articles (based on the articles' tags/topics)
custom Forms & Surveys
individual articles
shortcuts redirecting to useful resources, apps, ...
Requirements
Before we begin, it is important to note that you need to have tagged the content you want to display with Public Tags. The Articles and Forms that do not have a Public Tag will not appear in the available content.
Now that you have your content ready, let's dive in!
Go to Channels > Employee Portal > Homepage configuration and click on the "Expand" button to show all the settings.
Hot Topics: display articles as Collections
To showcase this beautiful row, click on the toggle button under "Hot Topics".
Click on the "+Add a topic card"
Select the Public Tag associated with the articles you want to display
Write the Title you want to display on the collection
Add a short description of the collection (optional)
Click on "Save"
Repeat with all the topics you want to add to the homepage.
You can also customize the title and description of the Row.
Display Custom Forms & Surveys
To showcase this row, click on the toggle button under "Quick Forms".
Click on the "+Add a form card"
Select the Form or Survey you want to display
Click on "Save"
Repeat with all the forms & surveys you want to add to the homepage.
You can also customize the title and description of the Row.
Display Individual Articles
To showcase this row, click on the toggle button under "Knowledge Base".
Click on the "+Add an article"
Select the Article you want to display
Click on "Save"
Repeat with all the articles you want to add to the homepage.
You can also customize the title and description of the Row.
Add Shortcuts
To add shortcuts under the main search bar, Click on the "+Add a shortcut"
Upload the logo of the webpage/appplication/ ... of the destination shortcut
Copy paste the destination URL
Add a title
Add a description (optional)
Repeat with all the shortcuts you want to add to the homepage.
⛔️ When you are done, don't forget to save and publish your updates by clicking on the Publish button at the top right of the page.
